Nicole Richardson first began studying tribal fusion and bellydance informally in 2001. Her first formal lessons were from Kendra Searls in ribal Fusion and ATS with Cindy Moonbear. She also later studied both forms from Arika Whiteaker. She then studied Egyptian style with A'isha Azar and currently studies Classical with Nefabit. She has taken workshops with Zoe Jakes, Nagasita, Sabah, Petite Jamillah, Tempest, Yasmin, Katrina McCoy and Medea. She also cross trains with hip hop, ballet and other forms of dance.
Nicole founded Koreshakti Tribal Fusion in 2008 but recently made the radical decision to dissolve the company and founded Hydra Tears Alternative Theater which will debut in early 2013. Expect an unique blend of theater, dance, cutting edge stage design, and couture costuming.
In 2009 Nicole was hired with the Mystik Dream Dance Company and in  late 2010 she was invited to become the tribal fusion instructor at the Mystik Dream Dance Academy where she still teachers. This year she was hired to dance at Azars Greek Restaurant every 2nd and 4th Friday. She views all art, in movement or on paper, as a spiritual discipline.
